Change back the menu to the old format on the left, much more difficult to find what you want!
The new menu on the left is awful, much harder to navigate....

The changes are based on the most popular feedback since Globrix was launched - that in addition to adding / refining by features, people want to be able to select multiple features and exclude locations / types of property - which is quite a complex ask!
There are more options now for each menu item, to require / desire and reject - and we will be working to optimise it so its shown in the easiest to use way - particularly the most popular menus.

have somewhere on here where buyers can put wanted
In some areas there are buyers who cannot find property to buy. What is on the market is overvalued. What about having somewhere on here that buyers could list what they want to buy.
Status: plannedThanks for submitting this, a very interesting idea and we have considered some similar sounding features. We could allow consumers to suggest what kind of property and price they are interested in for an area, and allow agents to get in touch with you directly if they have something that matches.

can enter a place of work and maximum commute time
You Can enter a place of work and maximum commute time. Using googles route finder (or AA or equivalent) you can get the time it takes from one place to another and only show houses that are within the time allowed. search by zone in london (zone 1,2,3,3 etc)
The ability to search for properties in london by zone/multiple zones. e.g properties in zone 1 and 2.

Alllow users of site to COMMENT on properties
Basically if you have seen a property on globrix -- then maybe someone may have actually viewed it or they may actually know the previous purchase price.
Just allowing the ability to comment on the property provides a community element and provides more power to the buyers..

fix the bug where properties are displayed from another area
I've searched within certain areas, using the map of available properties feature, to find that properties from Yorkshire are being displayed in and around Guildford...not that I have anything against Yorkshire...shame the prices aren't as reasonable down here!!
Status: startedIn the majority of cases this is because the address we have received is ambiguous - ie it matches 2 or more locations to the same level of certainty - for a small % of properties this is an issue. We are going to add a function to allow you to report that a property has an error, so we can quickly find the problem areas

offer a reduced bandwidth version
the site is extremely bandwidth intensive. it would be nice if you offered a 'lite' version. it takes a long time to load and it sucks up a lot of my hourly quota.

Make it easy to review hidden properties
I have found the ability to hide properties very useful. I can discard them for whatever reason, and not have to see them on the map each time I come back. Very nice. Status: under reviewCurrently you can go to MyGlobrix > preferences and reset the list of properties you have excluded.
There is currently no way to reinstate them on an individual basis.

Prevent agents from hoaxing the system
Agents like Aston Chase now crowd out other agents in my searches because they show properties which have been sitting for months as newly released practically every day.

Search for Number of Acres of Land
I'm really enjoying using Globrix but one thing I absolutely need is to search for property based on garden size. There are a few ways to do this at the moment but keywords like 'Acres of Land' dont always return properties with acres of land! Sometimes they will be in a street with 'Acre' in it.... more

Within so many minutes walking distance
Allow user to select a centre point and show properties with in a set walking time from this point i.e 15 minute walk to a station

Map school catchment areas & location of pupils
key criteria in selecting a house is which school catchment areas it falls within. It would also be useful to map where current pupils come from within the catchment area to further narrow where is best to live to get in the school of your choice.

Make 'search via map' images bigger
The images need to larger to be more visable

Use different icons on map to reflect user's prefs and usage
Currently, all icons on the Globrix map are the same (little red houses). It would be useful to show different icons for the following things:
- different state of icons for properties that are new (ie. never clicked by the logged in user in any previous session), or already looked at by the user... moreStatus: plannedWe have considered this in the past, and its reasonably complex due to various reasons, however we do have this planned in the pipeline
